Garage sale at the Butterfly thrift shop

GARAGE SALE AT THE BUTTERFLY!
Saturday June 9th, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
10216 NE 183rd Street, Bothell (map)

Attention, Redeemer parishioners! Finished spring cleaning and want to sell some stuff? Bring your stuff to the Butterfly for a multi-family garage sale on the front lawn!

Who Handles Selling My Stuff?

You do! It’s your garage sale—the Butterfly is only hosting the site. Each participant is responsible for their own goods, including bringing them to the Butterfly, setting up their goods, cleaning up, and removing them. If you want to set your stuff up on a table, please bring a table—the Butterfly is providing the lawn only! You’ll need to bring your own money to make change, too.

If you want to sell your stuff, don’t want to do it yourself, and are willing to donate the proceeds of selling your stuff to the Butterfly, please talk to Leslie Geare!

Can I Donate Goods Left Over from the Garage Sale?

The Butterfly is selective about what it accepts for resale. If you want to donate goods left over after the garage sale, please review your proposed donation and obtain approval from Butterfly staff.

What Happens to the Garage Sale Money?

Any money made at the garage sale belongs to the participant selling their goods. Participants may choose to donate some or all to the Butterfly, it is voluntary and up to the individual participant.

Why is the Butterfly Hosting a Garage Sale if it Doesn’t Get the Money?

The purpose is to raise awareness of the Butterfly and to increase foot traffic.

Please keep in mind that this garage sale should not increase the level of work required by the current volunteers at the Butterfly.
