Sermon for Christmas Eve 2007
God doesn’t want to punish or frighten us. He is not the God you hear about from our culture and our media, the God that wants to tell you how bad you are. And so He comes to us as a baby, and His power and presence is in the bread and wine that we receive in the Eucharist.
