Over the past two weeks I’ve spoken with a lot of people who volunteered on the Presidential campaigns. They’ve seen the difference their efforts can make in the world and they want to keep going — but they don’t know where or how they can help.
If you’re energized and excited and looking for ways to serve your community, use this tool provided by the United Way to search for volunteer opportunities in North King County and beyond.
At Redeemer we serve our immediate community in a variety of ways including providing monetary assistance, Safeway certificates, needed items for transitional housing, meals on Thanksgiving, a Christmas shopping trip and Christmas meals and gifts. Members of our congregation can support Outreach and the Kenmore Shelter by donating money, food, or volunteering their time.
