Make Holy Week your own
The moment we have been waiting for is here!
There are over 50 volunteer activities posted in the Undercroft to help you make Holy Week your own. Some activities are just for the DOING, some have a rehearsal to prepare you TO DO. We hope the “color coordination†helps you find what is best for you.
Activities especially for Newcomers
- Reader for Passion Gospel (rehearsal involved)
- Assist with designing and making the Paschal art
- Help install the Paschal art or Vigil furniture
- Move tables in the Undercroft and Education Building
- There are 3 people assigned for each of these, so be sure you are comfortable lifting tables and chairs.
- Help prepare for the Lazarus Saturday lunch (the day before Palm Sunday)
- Weeding, dusting, washing windows
Activities for Everyone
- Please DO stay for the Lazarus Saturday lunch. This is your reward for hard work and it’s a great way to socialize with new people as well as those you know.
- Please Do come to the rehearsal for activities that have one. You may have done this task before, but there might be new people who will need your experience to guide them.
- Please DO come to the End of Lent Liturgy on Saturday, April 4. It is a perfect transition to Holy Week (like a bookend with Ash Wednesday).
- Please DO make ALL the Holy Week Liturgies part of your experience. It can change your life.
