August 16th: Wear blue, and also hats
You know what would be nice? If we celebrated the Feast of St. Mary the Virgin by dressing a little special. You know, the way we do at Pentecost, and Pascha.
So here’s what let’s do: on Sunday, August 16th, everyone wear blue — the color traditionally associated with Our Lady.
Also, women are encouraged to wear lovely hats.
