Take a much-needed break from holiday busyness and refresh your spirit with these quiet, meditative, candlelit services at Church of the Redeemer. Watch and Pray includes vocal and instrumental music, readings from scripture and poetry, and 10 minutes of silent contemplation.
Our Watch and Pray series concludes with meditations on themes drawn from the hymn “Savior Of The Nations, Come”. Glenn Guhr will sing “Open Now, My Heart” from Bach’s Cantata #61 and cellist Nathan Whittaker will perform a solo.
Brightly doth Thy manger shine,
Glorious is its light divine.
Let not sin o’ercloud this light;
