Fall work party–Saturday, September 11
Start time: any time after 8 a.m.
Bring: gloves, shovels, rakes, pruning saws, weeding tools, clippers, wheelbarrows and other implements of destruction.
Coffee and doughnuts will be available at 8 — come by when you can. Lunch will be served around noon.
We will be weeding, pruning shrubs and cutting back ivy in the beds in front of the Ed Building and alongside the church building by the stairs to the main entrance.
Sign up sheets are in the undercroft, but feel free to just show up and pitch in! Any help you can offer is welcome.
We are also looking for a couple of pickup trucks and volunteers to haul the cuttings away to the Pacific Topsoils clean green disposal in Kenmore. If you have a pickup and can haul clean green, please bring a tarp and ropes to secure the load.
