Madeline Bersamina, soprano, presents “500 Miles of Song: From Seattle with Love.” This is a concert of American art song at Church of the Redeemer on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at 3:00 pm. Music included in this concert includes works from the following composers:

A versatile performer, Madeline Bersamina sings a wide array of music. However, she specializes in baroque and classical repertoire.
For two summers, Bersamina sang at the Oregon Bach Festival. She performed under Maestros Helmuth Rilling, Matthew Halls, and Marin Alsop.
Recent solo work includes scenes from the baroque operas Dido and Aeneas and Thesée with Pacific MusicWorks. Bersamina performed in J. S. Bach’s St. John Passion with Seattle Pro Musica. At the American Handel Festival, she sang in G. F. Handel’s Dixit Dominus. She performed in the Stabat Mater for solo soprano and organ by Luigi Boccherini with the Saint Joseph Church concert series.In solo recital, Bersamina featured Lili Boulanger’s Clairières dans le Ciel and Villa-Lobos’ Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5.
