Frequently Asked Questions about Workparty

What? Didn't we just have a work party?

Yes! And we had so much fun and the entrance to our driveway looks so much better that we wanted to work our way to the buildings before the weather got really bad.

What if the weather is horrible?

We’ll work on a project inside the buildings. There are several.

I can't be there but I want to help. What can I do?

Save the dates for a future Workparty. Mark your calendar for November 14, 2015, and December 12, 2015. The time will be 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.  We’ll let you know what is going on.

What does St. Benedict have to do with this?

Pray and work (ora et labora) refers to the monastic practice of working and praying, generally associated with its use in the Rule of St. Benedict. Workparty is applying this to parish life at Church of the Redeemer.
