Simplify your pledge payment

Want to make your pledge payment but hate writing checks? This is how to simplify your life.

Setting up an online pledge payment is easy if you use your bank’s online bill pay service. Bill pay lets you manage your pledge to Church of the Redeemer without the hassle of setting up a new online account. You are always in control—you can start, stop, and change your pledge anytime by logging onto your bank’s website or mobile app.  All you need is Redeemer’s address and phone number to get started.

How to create an online pledge payment

If you are new to bill pay, set up your bill pay account first. See those instructions below.

To create an online pledge payment, do the following.

  1. Log on to your bank’s website and the bill pay system.
  2. Create a new payee.
  3. Set up Church of the Redeemer as a new payee.
    • Payee info:
      Church of the Redeemer
      PO Box 82677
      Kenmore, WA 98028
    • Telephone Number:
      (425) 486-3777
    • Account number (optional):
Use your home telephone number. Bill pay systems assume that you are setting up payment with a creditor that has given you an account number. Redeemer does not need an account number. However, using your home number makes it simpler for the office to make sure to properly credit your pledge payment.
  4. Set up the dates, recurrence (monthly, weekly, or whatever), and amount of your payment and you’re done!

Your bank automatically mails payments to Church of the Redeemer on the day of the month you say until you tell them to stop.

Set up your bill pay account

If you are new to online bill pay, do the following before trying to set up a regular payment.

  1. Log on to your bank’s website.
  2. Find the “payments” section of the website.
  3. Find “pay bills online” or “pay bills.” This can vary a little between banks.
  4. Follow the instructions to activate online bill pay. Then follow the instructions above to set up Church of the Redeemer as a payee.

Other ways to pay online

Some banks offer a free “send a check” or “send a payment” service. If you need Church of the Redeemer’s bank information to use these services, contact for this info.

Something to consider

If you currently don’t have an online ID for your bank, this method is safer than mailing checks and it’s easy to get started.

Visit your bank’s website and follow the instructions to set up or enroll in online banking.
