- Make the campus and buildings more welcoming
If you have any questions about these renovations, send an email message to email@example.com.
Revitalize the worship space
The Vestry approved a project plan to revitalize our worship space with the following:
- Replace the deteriorating floors in the nave, sanctuary, and chapel with hardwood and new carpet
- Replace the existing pews with flexible bench pew seating
The implementation phase of the nave project kicks off on Saturday, February 11, 2017. The St. Benedict Workparty includes work on steps in the sanctuary and chapel by people in the parish. This prepares this area for new carpeting in March and April 2017.
Next, the current pews require removal before installation of the new flooring. This removal happens following the 10:30 worship service on Sunday, February 26. Help loosen the screws holding the current pews down and move them out of the way.
A contractor starts flooring replacement during March 2017. Installation of the new pews is in early April 2017. During this phase of the renovation, we will worship in the Education Building on the Redeemer campus.
We return to the revitalized worship space for the Great Vigil of Easter on Saturday evening, April 15, 2017.

Make the campus and buildings more welcoming
There are planned updates of the exterior landscaping around the main entrances to the campus and to the church building. This project started in December 2016. Completion of the new landscaping is during spring of 2017.
Other renovation projects
There have been other recent projects at Church of the Redeemer:
- The outdoor lighting outside the main entry of the church has been updated.
- The furnace was replaced in the education building.
- Minor electrical upgrades were made in the office and parish hall.
All of these changes will convey that this is a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment.

Church of the Redeemer is at 6210 181st Street in Kenmore, Washington. We are a short distance north of Bothell Way, near the Burke-Gilman Trail. The entrance looks like a gravel driveway. The campus is larger on the inside than it is on the outside.
