Shopping Trip: December 2, 2017

Church of the Redeemer and Holy Apostles again hosts a Christmas shopping trip for all the residents of Hopelink Kenmore Place on Saturday, December 2, 2017, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the parish hall for you to sign up for the following activities:

  • Drivers to take the parents shopping.
  • Volunteers to care for the children while the parents are shopping. We ask volunteers to bring a craft project or game for the children.

Lunch will be provided for everyone when the parents return from shopping.

If you have any questions, please contact Deborah Randall at

Hopelink Kenmore Place is a residence for families experiencing homelessness in the Northshore area of King County, Washington.

Since 1971, Hopelink has served homeless and low income families, children, seniors, and people with disabilities. They provide stability to those in crisis. Then, through an array of services, Hopelink helps to equip clients with the skills they need to permanently exit poverty.

Emergency service centers are in Bellevue, Kirkland/Northshore, Redmond, Shoreline, and Sno-Valley. See their areas of service.

Hopelink is funded by diverse sources. This includes public and private foundations, United Way, government support, and by donations from individuals, organizations and corporations in the community. Administrative costs are only eight percent of the budget. A full 92% of financial support goes directly to helping families in crisis and preventing homelessness.
