Anglican Prayer Beads Retreat

Church of the Redeemer offers an introduction to Anglican prayer beads on Saturday, December 9, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Anglican beads are a variation on the better-known Catholic rosary.

People have been using stones, knots, and beads of various materials for millennia to enhance their prayers. After a brief history of the use of beads in various faith traditions, and an introduction to Christian prayer beads, we will explore our unique Anglican set.

In order to plan for the supplies and bead booklets needed, please sign up ahead of time. The sign-up list is in the parish hall.

We request a suggested donation of $5 to cover the costs at the event.

Questions? Just ask. Bee Jay Mar will be leading us.
