Keepers of the Sacred Garden

The Church of the Redeemer Memorial Garden provides a sacred gathering place to remember those who have gone before us, reflect on the beauty of God’s creation, and celebrate the church’s community life today. The Keepers of the Sacred Garden maintain the Memorial Garden through monthly work parties, and enhance the garden in keeping with the basic design as approved by the Vestry and the parish.

    Keepers of the Sacred Garden meet the second Monday of each month (with the exception of December) at 7:00 PM in the church undercroft. Work parties are scheduled at the meetings after the needs of the garden are assessed and a work plan is developed.


    All are invited to participate. No gardening expertise is required – only an interest in the garden and a willingness to be involved. We have some truly skilled and knowledgeable gardeners as members. Some fund raising projects might be undertaken as the group works to enhance the garden.
