When Jesus wanted to tell people about his Father, he didn’t use logical proofs or write complex theological treatises: He told stories. Everyone would gather around him, and he would say, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like…”
Art and music is a vital part of our church life, because it is how we know what the Kingdom of Heaven is like. Through songs, paintings, textiles, and stories, the reality of God is made manifest among us, becomes something we can hear, see, and touch.
