St. Mark’s concert features Redeemer soloists

Organist Thomas Joyce and trumpeter Brian Chin will perform a concert of Baroque music in the Thomsen Chapel at St. Mark’s Cathedral on Sunday, May 24, 2:00 pm.
Glenn Guhr and Judson Scott, frequent soloists at Redeemer, will join them for a lively setting of Psalm 100 by Georg Philip Telemann.
Admission: $10 donation.

Children’s choir & marimba concert for Uganda

[ May 29, 2009; 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. ] Fernwood Elementary PTSA presents a Sister School Benefit Concert featuring Fernwood’s Watoto Karimu Concert Choir and Marimba Band and Odyssey Middle School’s (Bainbridge Island) Motsimoyo Marimba Band.

Proceeds will benefit Mokono Boarding School in Uganda. Help the Fernwood students to raise $5,000 to build them a school library!
