Hopelink Kenmore Place donations update

A big thank you to all who have already donated towards food gift cards or signed up to buy a gift for the families living at Hopelink Kenmore Place.

We are still in need of monetary donations to meet our $1100 goal by December 19. You can give by going to Giving. There are also still a number of gift requests to sign up for. You can sign up to purchase a gift by going to Hopelink Kenmore Place holiday donations.

Please bring all gifts unwrapped to church on December 19. Michelle Henderson will be in the parish hall from 9-10 am to collect gift donations after the 8:00 am service and before the 10:00 am service. Matt and Miriam Terry will be in the parish hall after the 10:00 am service to also collect gifts.

If you have any questions, please email Michelle Henderson at hkp@redeemer-kenmore.org.

Hopelink

Since 1971, Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, children, seniors, and people with disabilities in King and Snohomish counties; providing stability and helping people gain the skills and knowledge they need to exit poverty for good. With service centers in Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Shoreline and Sno-Valley (Carnation), Hopelink is the largest nonprofit organization in the area.

Hopelink provides a network of critical social services through a number of different programs—including housing, transportation, family development, financial assistance, employment programs, adult education, financial literacy training, and five food banks. The agency’s service centers, housing, and transportation programs help more than 63,000 people every year.

For families experiencing homelessness, transitional and long-term housing as well as emergency family shelter may be available through Hopelink.

Church of the Redeemer

Welcome to Church of the Redeemer: Worshiping God, living in community, and reaching out to the world. We are an Episcopal Church serving north King County and south Snohomish County, Washington. As you travel your road, go with friends walking the way of Jesus at Redeemer.

Church of the Redeemer is at 6210 Northeast 181st Street in Kenmore, Washington. We are a short distance north of Bothell Way, near the Burke-Gilman Trail. The entrance looks like a gravel driveway. The campus is larger on the inside than it is on the outside. And we managed to hide a large building on the side of a hill that is not easily seen from the street.

The Episcopal Church welcomes you.
