Workparty results for July 2023

Thanks to everyone that attended the Workparty on Saturday, July 15, 2023. As always, everyone in the parish (and beyond) was invited to attend. The participation in July was great.

It was great to see the 10-12 people in attendance. Most arrived in time for Morning Prayer at 9:30 am. Following Morning Prayer there was coffee and donuts. Then everyone broke into groups to perform the day’s tasks.

Another group made repairs to the parish hall window wall.

Everyone completed most of the scheduled work. Thanks to everyone for their hard work.

For the August 12, 2023, workparty, we need a couple of new people to help repair the window wall in the parish hall. Others can help to freshen up the postings on the bulletin boards and signage.

Help with future workparties

If you were unable to help on the projects in July 2023, you can participate in future workparties. Ongoing maintenance and new programs at Redeemer all have needs that you can help complete. Please contact Bill McGlinn if you have any questions, bill.mcglinn@redeemer-kenmore.org.

The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer: Worshiping God, living in community, reaching out to the world.

Church of the Redeemer

Church of the Redeemer: Worshiping God, living in community, and reaching out to the world around us. We are an Episcopal Church serving north King County and south Snohomish County, Washington. As you travel your road, go with friends walking the way of Jesus at Redeemer.

Church of the Redeemer is at 6210 Northeast 181st Street in Kenmore, Washington. The campus is a short distance north of Bothell Way, near the Burke-Gilman Trail. The entrance looks like a gravel driveway. The campus is larger on the inside than it is on the outside. And we managed to hide a large building on the side of a hill that is not easily seen from the street.

The Episcopal Church welcomes you.
