Cello Day 2023 (Nathan Whittaker)
Sat, July 8, 2023 All day
Announcing Cello Day 2023!, a one day event for cellists featuring a cello orchestra and smaller cello ensembles.
Open to only 20 cellists ages 14 and up, Cello Day 2023 will take place on July 8, 2023 in Kenmore WA (just outside of Seattle) on the beautiful campus of Church of the Redeemer (with plenty of parking). Director Nathan Whittaker is joined by coaches Miriam Shames, Michael King, and Virginia Dziekonski.
During Cello Day 2023, participants will play in the large cello orchestra, break into sectional groups, and play one-on-a-part chamber music. It is an intense (and fun) day, concluding with a concert for your friends and family.
This event is not sponsored by Church of the Redeemer. Contact Nathan Whittaker for more information, including the time of the informal concert for friends and family of the participants.
Church of the Redeemer
Church of the Redeemer: Worshiping God, living in community, and reaching out to the world around us. We are an Episcopal Church serving north King County and south Snohomish County, Washington. As you travel your road, go with friends walking the way of Jesus at Redeemer.
Church of the Redeemer is at 6210 Northeast 181st Street in Kenmore, Washington. The campus is a short distance north of Bothell Way, near the Burke-Gilman Trail. The entrance looks like a gravel driveway. The campus is larger on the inside than it is on the outside. And we managed to hide a large building on the side of a hill that is not easily seen from the street.
The Episcopal Church welcomes you.
