Dear Fellow Redeemer Parishioners,

I am excited to tell you that as part of our common goal to have Redeemer thrive as a place of gathering, worship, and fellowship, we have asked the Rev. Theresa Newell to reach our to local area Episcopal Churches to find ways for potential partnerships in our common ministry.

Rev. Newell first reached out to St. David Emmanuel where several past parishioners of Redeemer attend due to St. David Emmanuel’s superior accessibility. To all of our surprise, the Spirit seems ahead of us as the Vicar of St. David Emmanuel, Rev. Joseph Wolyniak, was seeking such a call. He is relocating to Denver in a matter of weeks. St. David Emmanuel’s future was cloudy.

The Vestry has authorized Rev. Newell to start conversations with St. David Emmanuel about the these points:

  • What a partnership would initially look like.
  • What our first steps of a deepening conversation and discernment should be.

We do not know yet where the Spirit is leading us with St. David Emmanuel. However, we trust that the Spirit will speak and likely through you! Please share with us in conversation and in prayer as we explore ways that Redeemer can partner with our area sister churches.

Church of the Redeemer

Church of the Redeemer: Worshiping God, living in community, and reaching out to the world around us. We are an Episcopal Church serving north King County and south Snohomish County. We welcome you be with us as we walk the way of Jesus.

Church of the Redeemer is at 6220 Northeast 181st Street in Kenmore, Washington. We are a short distance north of Bothell Way, near the Burke-Gilman Trail. The entrance looks like a gravel driveway. The campus is larger on the inside than it is on the outside. And we managed to hide a large building on the side of a hill that is not easily seen from the street.

The Episcopal Church welcomes you.
