Do you enjoy gardening? Do you enjoy working with your hands? Do you want our building and grounds to look beautiful and inviting to visitors, inside and out? Come to our next Parish Workparty on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

We start with Morning Prayer at 9:30 am. After that, we enjoy some treats at 10:00 am. Then, we will divide up to complete these and other tasks:

  • General cleaning/
  • Prepare for Sunday worship.
  • Repair the Parish Hall window wall. Volunteers will seal the wood prior to painting. No previous experience required.
  • Refresh the Parish Hall bulletin boards and install signs in the lobby.
  • Weed and trim the entrance garden.
  • Clean the Parish Hall floor.
  • Clean the down spout drains.
  • Level ruts in the entrance driveway.

Feel free to bring gardening and small maintenance tools to help with minor repairs. We have some at the church, but could always use more.

There is no need to sign up. You only need to show up for as long as you can on August 12.

Did we mention that treats are provided?

If you are unable to help on these projects on August 12, there will be future opportunities to help. On going maintenance and new programs at Redeemer all have needs that you can help us complete.

If you have any questions, contact Bill McGlinn at bill.mcglinn@redeemer-kenmore.org.

See you on Saturday, August 12, at 9:30 am.

Church of the Redeemer

Church of the Redeemer: Worshiping God, living in community, and reaching out to the world around us. We are an Episcopal Church serving north King County and south Snohomish County, Washington. As you travel your road, go with friends walking the way of Jesus at Redeemer.

Church of the Redeemer is at 6220 Northeast 181st Street in Kenmore, Washington. The campus is a short distance north of Bothell Way, near the Burke-Gilman Trail. The entrance looks like a gravel driveway. The campus is larger on the inside than it is on the outside. And we managed to hide a large building on the side of a hill that is not easily seen from the street.

The Episcopal Church welcomes you.

Funeral for the Rev. Canon John Fergueson, Saturday, March 2, 2026, at 10:00 am in Church of the Redeemer. Additional parking available at The Vine Church across 181st Street from Redeemer.

The 6th Sunday of Easter (Year A), May 10, 2026. Services at 8:00 am (no music) and 10:30 (music). Xristos Kuxwoo-digoot! Xegaa-kux Kuxwoo-digoot!
