Listening sessions

Listening sessions

Sun, May 31 at 9:15 am to 10:15 am PDT

Please join the Vestry for a couple of listening sessions on May 17 and May 31. We will meet in the nave from 9:15 am to 10:00 am. Below are the topics that we will discuss each week. Please take time to think about them in advance and be ready to share your ideas.

Week 1, May 17—Brief update on Redeemer followed by a discussion of the following:

  • What do you love about Redeemer?
  • What change to Redeemer would cause you to want to stop attending Redeemer?
  • What are you secretly hoping will change for the better at Redeemer?

Week 2, May 31—Brief update on Redeemer followed by a discussion of the following:

  • If your heart’s delight (what brings you joy) was happening at Redeemer, what level of involvement (skills, time, resources) would you want or have?
  • If your heart’s delight (what brings you joy) was happening at Redeemer, what would it be?

The Vestry wants your input. Contact Susan Switzer, Senior Warden, at sswitzer@redeemer-kenmore.org for more information.

The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer: Worshiping God, living in community, reaching out to the world.

Church of the Redeemer

Church of the Redeemer: Worshiping God, living in community, and reaching out to the world around us. We are an Episcopal Church serving north King County and south Snohomish County, Washington. As you travel your road, go with friends walking the way of Jesus at Redeemer.

Church of the Redeemer is at 6220 Northeast 181st Street in Kenmore, Washington. The campus is a short distance north of Bothell Way, near the Burke-Gilman Trail. The entrance looks like a gravel driveway. The campus is larger on the inside than it is on the outside. And we managed to hide a large building on the side of a hill that is not easily seen from the street.

The Episcopal Church welcomes you.
